Tish Cohen has created and edited an online woman’s magazine and contributed articles to The Globe and Mail and the National Post. She has written two novels for young adults, The Invisible Rules of the Zoë Lama and new this year, The One and Only Zoë Lama.

Seventh grader Zoë is one of the most popular girls in school due to the unorthodox yet no nonsense advice she offers to her schoolmate “clients.” One day, her teacher announces that they will be blending another class into theirs, creating a new 6/7 class. Zoë gets sick and during her week long absence, sixth grader Devon Sweeney “stepped up… and kind of took over.” Her long time clients are now turning to Devon for advice. To make matters worse, the apartment in which Zoë and her mother live is becoming more dangerous by the minute, her boyfriend Riley is spending time with Devon, and Zoë has lost the class pet! She might need a little more than her own advice to get her through…
