(Harper Collins, 2008)

Newton is like most other adolescent boys, except he’s a Starker, and lightning has killed every Starker except for his great grandmother. Newton has come up with a set of rules to help his chances for survival. He’s also signed up to begin school at Jerry Potts Academy of Higher Learning and Survival. In addition to lightning, Newton is going to have to learn how to survive at the Academy with a little help from his friend Jacob and unlikely pal Josephine the pig.
