Public Events (1 ½ Hours Total)Public events invite students into the excitement of WordFest™. Students have an opportunity to experience the electricity of events in some of Calgary’s top cultural venues, including the Vertigo Theatre Centre.Following the event, your class has half an hour to chat with authors, get books signed and take advantage of the on-site bookseller. In-School Events (1 ½ Hours Total)Book Rapport works with teachers and the selected author to build an event that suits the school’s needs. In-school events feature one author and include a question and answer period. As with public events, your class has a half an hour following the one-hour event to mix and mingle with the author and get books signed.Le programme Festival des motsLe WordFest est fier d’accueillir des écrivains francophones pour le programme du “Festival des mots”! Ce groupe d’auteurs de talent comprend Sylvain Hotte, Dominique Demers, François Barcelo, Dany Laferrière, Monique Proulx et d'autres annoncés dès que possible.
