Arthur Slade (CAN) is the author of Dust, a national bestseller and winner of the Governor General’s Award for Children’s Literature. His novel Tribes was a Canadian Library Association Young Adult Honour Book and was nominated for five other literary prizes. Megiddo’s Shadow was the 2006 Saskatchewan Book Award recipient and was nominated for OLA’s Red Maple Reader’s Choice Award. Slade is also the author of Monsterology, Villainology and the Canadian Chills series. Slade returns to the Festival with his new book, Empire of Ruins. WordFest alumnus 2002, 2005, 2008, 2009 |
